Kudankulam-1 was put into commercial operation

The Unit 1 of Kudankulam NPP (India) was put into commercial operation at December 31, 2014.

The station Manager R. S. Sundar reported that the first unit up to this point has been in power in total 5266 hours.

In turn, an informed source confirmed to AtomInfo.Ru that the preparation of Kudankulam-1 to the commercial operation "was successfully completed."
