TEPCO has unloaded all assemblies from spent fuel pool of Fukushima Daiichi-4 AtomInfo.Ru, PUBLISHED 25.12.2014 The TEPCO has completed the unloading of the fuel assemblies from the spent fuel pool of the unit 4 of Fukushima Daiichi NPP in Japan. The unloading was launched on November 18, 2013 and ended on 22 December 2014. Iin the pool at the time of the 2011 accident it was 1533 fuel assemblies. Of them, 1331 irradiated assembly and 202 fresh assemblies. There was no fuel in the reactor core of the fourth unit becauses the unit was shutdown for refuelling and maintenance outage.
