Planned repair of transformers of the fifth power unit began at the Zaporozhye NPP

The planned repair of transformers of the fifth power unit has begun at the Zaporozhye NPP, the plant's telegram channel reports.

The work is being carried out by the contractor Atomenergoremont. As part of the repair, specialists will carry out:

• high-voltage tests and measurements of the block transformer and transformers of own needs;

• testing of surge arresters;

• repair of block transformer oil coolers, cleaning of pipe boards and replacement of rubber seals;

• maintenance of fire extinguishing systems, relay protection and automation.
