Kudankulam-3/4 construction shall start on 2015-2016

India expects to launch in March 2021 the third and fourth units of Kudankulam NPP.

This is stated in the official report of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.

"The construction of the third and fourth Kudankulam units should begin in late 2015 - early 2016," says the department.

"The unit commissioning is planned for 2020/21 fiscal year, which ends in March 2021".
