Westinghouse (USA) and Ansaldo Nuclear (Italy) signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of a fast reactor project with lead coolant.
In accordance with the terms of the agreement, the companies will work on a joint reactor project.
Recall that the Westinghouse company is developing the Westinghouse LFR fast lead reactor project, and the Italian company is engaged in the ALFRED fast lead reactor project.
