The specialists of the Bochvar institute (part of the Rosatom's fuel company TVEL) received a patent of the Russian Federation for an invention concerning a method for manufacturing the spacer grids for the fuel assembly of the Brest-OD-300 fast neutron reactor.

The Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries signed an agreement with the Atox Company Limited, according to which the latter will take the nuclear business of the Kawasaki Heavy.

The Indian regulatory authority (AERB) has issued a permit to start construction of the first two PHWR-700 heavy water reactor units at the Gorakhpur Haryana Anu Vidyut Pariyojna site in Haryana state.
