(OMZ) have completed the 37th shipment of equipment for Kudankulam NPP (India). The cost of equipment is about USA $ 5 million. This equipment with weight of 266 tons includes rolling gate for transport portal, emergency sluice, pellets for sub-assemblies and others. In 2002 OMZ concluded the contract with the general contractor ZAO "Atomstroyexport" for production of equipment for two units with VVER-1000 reactors of Kudankulam NPP. In accordance with the Contract OMZ should deliver about 21 000 tons of equipment to Nuclear Power Corporation of India with the cost of more USA$ 300 million. OMZ plans to complete deliveries of equipment for Kudankulam NPP in 2007. United Heavy Machinery Corp. (Uralmash - Izhora group) is Russia's leading engineering company.
