Moscow state university and Rosenergoatom department for management of investment programs have agreed about foundation of the strategic partnership

On July 9 the meeting was held between Moscow state University (MSU) department for innovation policy and organization of MSU innovation activity and Rosenergoatom department for management of investment programs. The participants discussed the methodology of assessment of economic efficiency of long-term investment projects and project with implementation of innovations using discounting, mechanisms of terms and risks management.

Rosenergoatom representatives made a presentation about the strategic investment management system in nuclear power, and corporative technique of investment planning and monitoring of economic efficiency of investment programs were presented.

During meeting the participants noted the actuality of the problems considered and the necessity of improving economic efficiency of investment projects due to using new scientific theories and methods, generalization of the best world practice in solving these problems.

Besides, the problems of organization of personal training were also discussed at the meeting.

First concrete poured at unit 4 at Leningrad NPP-2
On March 20, 2025, the first concrete was poured for the foundation of the reactor building at Unit 4 of Leningrad NPP-2. The construction is part of the capacity replacement program at the plant, a subsidiary of Rosenergoatom, Rosatom Electric Power Division.
Representatives from the Belarusian NPP, El Dabaa NPP (Egypt), and Rooppur NPP (Bangladesh) participated in the first concrete ceremony via videoconference. These countries have power units with reference Russian VVER-1200 reactors that they have constructed or are constructing with the support of Rosatom.
