Rosatom deputy head Vladimir Travin will chair Atomenergoprom

According to Russian information agency Regnum Vladimir Travin, the deputy head of Rosatom, will chair JSC Atomenergoprom. At present administration of company is formed.

Rosatom press-secretary of Sergey Novikov declined to comment this information.

Vladimir Travin was born in 1960. He worked as engineer, junior research assistance, research assistance in NC RF VNIIEF (Sarov, Nizhny Novgorod Region), then chairmen of the Board of "Guarantee" bank (Nizhny Novgorod), JSC "Norci Oil" vice president for finance, JSC "AK Transneft" vice president for finance of.

In December, 2005 he was appointed to the adviser of Rosatom head. On January 26, 2007 he was appointed to the deputy head of Rosatom. He is responsible for financial policy of Rosatom.

Atomenergoprom is the vertical integrated state-own holding, the decree about its foundation was signed by RF president Vladimir Putin in April, 2007.

JSC Atomenergoprom will include enterprises of all type of ownership of civil nuclear industry. This company will consolidate production of heat and electricity, uranium mining, its enrichment, production and reprocessing of nuclear fuel, designing and construction of NPP.

The major stage of foundation of Atomenergoprom will be completed in 2007.
