According to Azerbaijani information site Day.az, Azerbaijani Minister of ecology and natural resources Gusein Bagirov has commented the plans of Armenia to build the second NPP: "Azerbaijan also can construct the NPP if it is necessary".

He also added that this is a right of Azerbaijan.

"Now there is more improved equipment in nuclear power and Azerbaijan can use it", - he said.

Bagirov thinks that Azerbaijan should study the advanced experience of other countries before NPP construction and consrtuct NPP taking into account the most modern safety system.
