Second Rosatom's Industrial Innovation Forum launched in Moscow

The second Rosatom's Industrial Innovation Forum started in Moscow on June, 26.

Representatives of legislative and executive bodies, heads of the Federal Atomic Energy Agency, representatives of the largest investment companies and banks, representatives of R&D institutes and companies, scientists, representatives of fuel-power fuel, aircraft, utilities and transport industries will take part in this conference.

The adviser of the head of Rosatom Peter Shedrovitsky told "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" (Russian Gazette): "Research and development activities are important not only for nuclear power itself but they have an importance influence on allied industries. Our forum is aimed at support of technologies, which arose in nuclear power and can be used beyond nuclear power, for example, in aircraft industry, in diagnostics of pipe-line transport, rail transport, small nuclear power, electronics, mining and materials industries, oil and gas complex, electric-power industry, safety provision, ecology and in public utilities".

The main goals of II Industrial Innovation Forum is to promote commercialization of technical-scientific activity in civil nuclear power, to activate business innovation activity, to use off-budget investments for realization of innovation projects, to promote development of innovation infrastructure providing integration of all participants of innovation activity and to expedite commercialization processes of technical-scientific projects.

The best projects will be reviewed by Center 'Atom Innovations' and an investment committee of the future industrial venture fund for possible support of their commercialization.
