The experimental capacity of the PIK reactor, which is being created on the basis of the St. Petersburg Institute of nuclear physics named after B.P.Konstantinov, will be reconstructed, and the project will be financed in 2020-2024 by more than 8.98 billion rubles.

The scientists of the VNIINM named after A.A.Bochvar (JSC VNIINM; part of the Rosatom fuel company TVEL) took part in the project to create a Russian conveyor greenhouse for growing plants in space.

The Hungarian energy and utilities regulatory authority MEKH has approved a plan to connect the future Paks-2 nuclear power plant to the grid.
