CEA sold some AREVA shares

Atomic Energy Commission of France sold a batch of shares of the group AREVA.

The Commissariat received permission to sell 27,412,875 shares (7.15%) of AREVA with 12.19 euros per share.

The date of the transaction was not disclosed. As far as we know, it happens not later than 11 December 2014.

Based on the data presented on the official website of AREVA, the purchaser is the French state.

This is not the first sale of AREVA shares by the Commissariat. In 2013 it sold a 11.51% stake.

Thus, on December 11, 2014, the Commissariat is still the largest shareholder of AREVA - 54.37%. The French state owns 28.83%. The free float is 4.01%.
