Italian Police Hold Suspect Terrorists

RIA Novosti, PUBLISHED June 14, 2012

Italy’s Carabinieri have arrested 10 people suspected of involvement in left wing terrorist activities, Italian media reported Monday.

In a large-scale operation against anarchist organizations the military police made eight arrests in Italy, with another individual arrested in Switzerland, and one in Germany. All of the arrested had links to either the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI) or the International Revolutionary Front (FRI).

Those arrested appeared not to have been directly connected with the most serious recent terrorist attack in Italy – last month’s shooting and wounding of a senior executive in the nuclear industry, Roberto Adinolfi of Finmeccanica, the Guardian said.

Not quite so. The authors of the concept, which was difficult to be realized in practice, turned to a clearer concept of a standing wave reactor (TP-1) that in principle allows finding the solution to the tasks stated for TWRs.

One more round of talks will be held in Moscow on June 18-19 in an attempt to find common ground. There is no reason to dramatize the situation.
