US Delegation to Meet With Iranian Officials in Geneva to Discuss Tehran Nuclear Issue RIA Novosti, PUBLISHED 05.09.2014 US Delegation, comprising of Deputy Secretary of State William Burns, Under Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman and Senior Advisor Jake Sullivan is to meet with Iranian officials in Geneva on September 4-5 in order to discuss Iranian nuclear issue, US State Department Spokesperson Marie Harf wrote Thursday on her Twitter. ”These bilateral consultations will take place in the context of the P5+1 nuclear negotiations led by EU High Representative Cathy [Catherine] Ashton,” Harf wrote. The document has to be signed a year from the Geneva Accord, which gives the parties until November 24, 2014, to reach a final agreement.
