Sergey Tochilin is appointed as the new Director General of OJSC Sibirsky Chemical Industrial Complex Public Relations Department of OJSC Sibirsky Chemical Industrial Complex, PUBLISHED July 28, 2012 Sergey Tochilin, the former Deputy Governor of Tomsk Region for particularly important projects, has been appointed as the General Director of OJSC “Sibirsky Chemical Industrial Complex (SCC)” (a part of Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL, Seversk). This appointment decision was taken by the meeting of SCC Board of Directors on July 24, 2012 and was based on the results of the open vacancy tendering corporate procedures. Sergey Tochilin has a 28-year experience of employment at Sibirsky Chemical Industrial Complex as well as a broad administrative experience of work in executive power bodies in Seversk and Tomsk Region. While working in Tomsk Regional administration he was responsible for important projects that were mainly related with the development of nuclear power industry and nuclear technologies, for example, the construction of Seversk NPP and that of the Federal Medical Radiology High-Tech Center. Likewise he was closely involved in the implementation of top-priority national projects, the development of social infra-structure and in some other activity areas. Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL has set imperative goals for the new SCC General Director. First of all they are related with the development of the most promising areas, such as the conversion center, production of dense fuel for fast neutron reactors, nuclear reactor decommissioning pilot center; the modernization of separation works; decommissioning of defense facilities and improvement of labor productivity. Other precedence objective is to create new jobs acting in close cooperation with local and regional authorities. On July, 25 2012 the new General Director was officially presented to SCC employees by Mr. Sergey Zhvachkin, the Governor of Tomsk Region, and Mr. Yury Olenin, the President of Rosatom Fuel Company TVEL. Sergey Tochilin was born on March, 15, 1955, in Malyshev Log, Kemerov Region. In 1977 he graduated from Tomsk Polytechnic University. From 1977 to 2001 he worked at Sibirsky Chemical Industrial Complex, where he started as a mechanical engineer and finally reached the position of the plant director. In December 2005 he became the Head of Seversk Local Administration in Tomsk Region. Later, in July 2007, Sergey Tochilin was appointed as the First Deputy Governor of Tomsk Region, and in April 2009 he became the Deputy Governor of Tomsk Region for particularly important projects.
