In Dushanbe Nikolai Spasskiy had working meetings with Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Tajikistan Khairullo Makhmadulloev and Director of Nuclear and Radiation Safety Agency under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan Ulmas Mirsaidov. In Bishkek full-fledged negotiations with Minister of Emergence Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov took place. A broad range of issues related to the cooperation ROSATOM with the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic was discussed, including the implementation of program “Rehabilitation of Territories of EuRAsEC States Affected by Uranium Productions” and the drafting of intergovernmental agreements with the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic concerning the cooperation in the area of “peaceful atom.” The sides agreed to take necessary measures to prepare these agreements for signing in fall 2012.
