TVEL supported a Russian young piano player’s concerts in Czech Republic

Concerts of a Russian young piano player organized November 27 in Brno and November 28 in Prague in frames of the “Days of Russian Culture in the Czech Republic” received a great success. In particular, the concert in Prague was set on one of the most prestigious stages of the country’s capital – Jofin Palace. The piano concert was attended by many of Czech celebrities and politicians, businessmen, diplomats, including Russian Ambassador Alexey Fedotov. Both concerts included music by Petr Tchaikovsky and Ferenz List played by the emerging star of international music.

Miroslav Kultyshev was born in 1985 in Leningrad. In 2004 he finished Specialized High School of the St. Petersburg Conservatoire named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov. At present, he is a student of the St. Petersburg Conservatoire. Miroslav Kultyshev is a second prize and silver medal awardee of the 2007 International Contest of P.I. Tchaikovsky. In spite of his young age the piano player has become a laureate of many international youth contests and festivals and regularly plays in the best concert halls of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The Russian nuclear fuel producer – TVEL Corporation – for many years has paid a great attention to maintaining cultural ties between Russia and the Czech Republic through support of the “Days of Russian Culture in the Czech Republic” festival. This year the festival framed a Gala Ballet of prima ballet dancers of the Mariinsky Theater and Academic Theater of Ballet name after Musorgsky and leading Czech ballet dancers. In 2005 in frame of the festival The Don Quixote ballet staged by a well-known Russian choreographer Nikita Dolgushin was performed by dancer of Opera and Ballet Theater of the St. Petersburg Conservatoire named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov (with participation of the Mariinsky Theater primas). Culture columnists of Czech media emphasize the festival has become a good tradition within Russian-Czech cultural cooperation.
