TVEL Russian company will be the only supplier of nuclear fuel for Czech and Slovak NPPs. American company Westinghouse will cease delivery of fuel for the largest Czech NPP "Temelin". Russian fuel proved to be more qualitative, its use will decrease significantly expenditures for NPP operation -CEZ (Czech power enterprises) experts announced.

Contract for delivery of Russian fuel to NPP "Temelin" was concluded by CEP initiative. The contract will put in force in 2010, duration of the contract is 10 years with possibility of its prolongation. During decade approximately 400 tons of fuel is suggested to deliver.

Russia also supply fuel to Czech NPP "Dukovany" and Slovak NPPs "Bohunice" and "Mochovce". NPPs in Czechia and Slovakia were constructed by means of USSR. Russia facilitates technical assistance in their operation.
