A steam generator for the Xudapu-2 unit under arrived at the site on October 10, 2026, reports the Chinese nuclear portal CINIE.

At the next stage, the project team will continue work on equipment handover and preparation for installation.

The unit will operate a CAP-1000 reactor. Construction of the unit began in July 2024.
