Core catcher vessel installed at Leningrad NPP-2 unit 4 under construction

The core catcher vessel has been installed at the under-construction unit 4 of the Leningrad NPP-2, according to the Rosenergoatom website.

The installation of core catcher elements is carried out in stages, as the construction structures of the reactor shaft become ready.

The installation work is scheduled for completion in 2027.
