CNNC CNI 22 deepens public welfare efforts in Timor-Leste CNNC, PUBLISHED 25.05.2026 On April 25, China Nuclear Industry 22nd Construction Co (CNI 22), a subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), collaborated with the 11th Chinese Medical Team to Timor-Leste to provide a free clinic at the Baucau irrigation project. This initiative brought quality medical resources and professional health services to local residents, project employees, and their families. A one-stop medical service station was set up on-site, offering consultations, health checkups, and customized treatment plans for common and chronic diseases prevalent in the area. Medical experts also shared practical knowledge on malaria prevention, daily healthcare, and emergency first aid. Free common medicines were distributed on-site, with detailed guidance on proper usage, helping address local healthcare challenges. The initiative received warm appreciation from local villagers and employees. Timor-Leste's Ministry of Health and local residents presented Tais textiles, a national intangible cultural heritage, to CNI 22 to express their gratitude for its commitment to local welfare and the friendship between China and Timor-Leste. Since entering the Timor-Leste market, CNI 22 has actively advanced key livelihood projects such as the Baucau irrigation project to promote local agricultural development and infrastructure upgrades.
