Kazatomprom shareholders support India deal

The shareholders of Kazatomprom (Kazakhstan) at an extraordinary general meeting approved the deal concluded with the department of procurement and material reserves of the department of atomic energy of the government of India.

The transaction value exceeds 50% of the total book value of Kazatomprom's assets. According to the requirements of the legislation of Kazakhstan, this transaction is submitted for consideration by the general meeting of shareholders of the company.

An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders was announced in February 2026.

The details of the concluded transaction in terms of pricing, volumes and delivery dates are not subject to disclosure due to the confidentiality of relevant information and the availability of trade secrets.

It is known that we are talking about the supply of natural uranium concentrates in the form of U3O8 to India.
