Contract with Siemens for supplies for Paks-2 NPP terminated

AtomInfo.Ru, PUBLISHED 18.02.2026

The contract with Siemens (Germany) for supplies within the framework of the Paks-2 NPP construction in Hungary was terminated at the end of 2025.

"The potential participation of Siemens was limited to individual elements of the automated process control system - in the total amount of equipment on the project, this is less than 4%, which is not critical," the Rosatom State Corporation said.

This equipment can be replaced by both Russian and European analogues. Alternative suppliers are already being considered.
