Tianwan Nuclear Power Unit 7 completes hot functional test CNNC, PUBLISHED 13.01.2026 On December 30, Unit 7 of CNNC's Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant successfully completed hot functional test, marking a key milestone and laying a solid foundation for subsequent nuclear fuel loading and grid connection. Hot functional test is conducted prior to fuel loading to comprehensively verify the reliability of the nuclear and conventional island systems under hot operating conditions, ensuring all performance parameters meet design requirements.
