Unit No. 2 has been permanently shut down at the Bilibino NPP AtomInfo.Ru, PUBLISHED 03.12.2025 The unit No. 2 with an EGP-6 reactor (an heterogeneous loop reactor with six loops of coolant circulation) has been shut down for decommissioning at the Bilibino NPP. This is the first of the three power units of the nuclear power plant, which will switch to a mode without generating electricity by the end of the year. The disconnections from the grid of the other two units of the Bilibino NPP (No. 3 and No. 4) are scheduled for December 11 and 22, 2025.
