CNNC Shines at the 4th China Nuclear Energy High-Quality Development Conference Shenzhen International Nuclear Energy Industry Innovation Expo

CNNC, PUBLISHED 25.11.2025

From November 12 to 14, the 4th China Nuclear Energy High-Quality Development Conference Shenzhen International Nuclear Industry Innovation Expo was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.

Centered on the theme "Nuclear Gather in Greater Bay Area·Active Leading the World", the Expo served as a collaborative platform for industry exchange. A keynote forum titled "Digital Intelligence-Driven, Innovation-Led High-Quality Nuclear Development" and more than 10 academic forums were organized concurrently.

During the conference, China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) and its partner co-hosted the sub-forum "Infinite Nuclear Power for High-Quality Marine Development".

The event focused on cutting-edge topics such as nuclear safety and site development for offshore nuclear power plants, promoting an integrated innovation system that links nuclear technology with the marine economy.

With the theme "Infinite Nuclear Power, Creating the Future Together", CNNC highlighted the concept of the "New Offshore CNNC", showcasing its full industrial-chain strengths and eight core capabilities.

The exhibition underlined CNNC's role as an industry leader - supporting Chinese-style modernization, advancing the national nuclear power "three-step" strategy, and empowering the development of the Maoming Zero-Carbon Industrial Park.

It also featured CNNC's latest achievements in integrated nuclear energy applications and digital transformation of the nuclear industry.

This year's Expo placed a strong emphasis on "New Offshore CNNC", showcasing advances in uranium extraction from seawater, nuclear fuel, engineering construction, floating reactors, and more.

One of the core exhibits - the Maoming Zero-Carbon Industrial Park planning model - attracted significant attention upon debut. The park uses Hualong One and HTGR technologies as its zero-carbon energy foundation, offering an innovative global model for coupling nuclear energy with petrochemical industries.

It stands as a benchmark project for implementing the new development philosophy and providing green energy solutions for industrial parks.

CNNC also presented its "8+N" modern industrial system, Hualong One, Linglong One, integrated fast reactor technologies, the next-generation fusion device China Circulator III, and a variety of advanced nuclear technology application products.

Throughout the Expo, CNNC's booth drew large crowds by offering immersive experiences through models, multimedia interaction, videos, and graphic displays, engaging visitors and facilitating extensive exchange.
