Reactor vessel for Unit 4 delivered to Akkuyu NPP site Rosatom, PUBLISHED 12.11.2025 The reactor pressure vessel for Unit 4 has been delivered to the site of Akkuyu NPP (being built by Rosatom State Corporation). The equipment was manufactured at Atommash plant (Volgodonsk, Rostov Region), an enterprise of Rosatom's machine building division specializing in manufacturing of reactor equipment for high capacity nuclear power plants. In addition to the reactor vessel, the cargo ship also delivered the equipment lock for Unit 3 and the pressurizer for Unit 4. The equipment was delivered via combined transportation by roads and sea. The reactor vessel was delivered from the manufacturer plant to the quay on a special self-propelled platform. After that the vessel travelled over 3,000 kilometers by sea and arrived at the Eastern cargo terminal at the Akkuyu NPP site. After unloading, which was carried out in strict compliance with safety regulations, the equipment was sent to a storage facility.
