CNNC attends the 2025 Media Cooperation Forum on Belt and Road CNNC, PUBLISHED 06.10.2025 Liu Jianping, a director of the board of the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), delivered a speech at the 2025 Media Cooperation Forum on Belt and Road. He highlighted CNNC's success in building trust and achieving significant nuclear cooperation with BRI partners through technological prowess and the principle of shared benefits. Liu emphasized CNNC's commitment to accelerating the development of new quality productive forces and global clean energy transition, and advancing the dual carbon goals, leveraging its comprehensive nuclear industry chain and leading innovation capabilities. By promoting openness and collaboration, CNNC aims to foster diverse international cooperation models in nuclear power, technology applications, and safety, charting the course of nuclear development with global partners. CNNC also aims to enhance the quality of people's life through nuclear power by providing sustainable and high-quality advancements in electricity, infrastructure and urban services. Liu also expressed his hope to work along with global media partners to share the story of the nuclear cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative through joint reporting and cross-cultural exchange activities, foster platforms that connect with the public, and safeguard a sustainable future.
