Rosatom participated in a discussion on the future of the nuclear sector in Latin America

Rosatom State Corporation reaffirmed its dedication to international cooperation and sustainable energy at the 36th Congress of the Mexican Nuclear Society, held in Xalapa, Mexico, from September 7 to 10.

Organized with support from the Latin American Section of the American Nuclear Society (LAS/ANS), the forum brought together leading experts, scientists, and industry leaders from across the continent to discuss the future of nuclear energy in the region.

This year's congress focused on advancing nuclear energy programs and fostering public acceptance throughout Latin America.

Representing Rosatom Latin America, Roman Aseev delivered a presentation detailing the corporation's global activities, with particular emphasis on its initiatives in the region.

He also took part in a roundtable entitled "Development of the Nuclear Industry in Latin America: Challenges and Opportunities," discussing both the prospects and hurdles facing the industry.
