Rosatom expects to determine the site for the construction of a new Southern nuclear power plant by the end of this year.

The newspaper Vedomosti Yug writes about this with reference to the press service of the state corporation.

Currently, Rosatom is still considering territories in the Rostov Region and Krasnodar Territory as priorities, as indicated in the general layout of electric power facilities until 2042.
