Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom, met with Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, in Moscow

On July 27, a meeting was held between Fadillah Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation of Malaysia, and Alexey Likhachev, Director General of Rosatom, in Moscow.

The two parties discussed opportunities for partnership in the field of nuclear energy and identified specific steps to further develop cooperation between two countries.

The main focus of the discussion was on the potential use of Rosatom's Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) technology.

During their visit to Russia, the Malaysian delegation were presented with Rosatom's cutting-edge technologies at the Leningrad NPP. They also visited the Atom Museum where they learned about the historical development of the Russia's nuclear industry.
