416 nuclear units are operating in the world, 62 units are under construction

The current number of the operating nuclear power units in the world is equal to 416. These data are presented in the PRIS database supported by the IAEA.

Another 62 units have the status of the being built one.

Since the beginning of 2025, one new unit has been connected to the grid - Rajasthan-7 (India).

The construction was started on one new unit - Taipingling-3 (China).

Two units was permanently shutdown - Doel-1 (Belgium) and Maanshan-2 (Taiwan, China)
