The third unit of the Leningrad NPP has been put into planned overhaul

The unit No. 3 of the Leningrad NPP was put into scheduled overhaul on January 5, 2025, which will end in the first decade of April.

This is reported on the website of Rosenergoatom.

During the repair, specialists from Leningrad NPP and Lenatomenergoremont will carry out work on in-reactor monitoring and management of reactor resource characteristics, as well as operational control of the condition of the base metal and welded joints of equipment, pipelines and other elements of the third power unit.

In addition, electrical equipment and automation will be upgraded at unit No. 3.

In total, about 1,650 people will be involved in the repair campaign.

Currently, four units are operating at the Leningrad NPP, which carry a load of 4,197 MW.
