Transfer of Zaporozhye NPP units to hot shutdown mode is not planned yet

The transfer of one or more power units of the Zaporizhia NPP in the hot shutdown mode to provide the city of Energodar with heat in winter is not yet planned.

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the director of communications of the plant Evgenia Yashina.

"The plant does not plan to transfer the units to a hot shutdown mode. The city is provided with the necessary sources of heat supply and supplies," Yashina said.

Earlier, the authorities of Energodar announced the upcoming launch of heat supply in the city.
