Contract for construction of small nuclear plant in Uzbekistan has entered into force

The signing ceremony of the protocol on the procedure for the entry into force of the contract for the construction of the small nuclear plant took place in Uzbekistan, the Uzatoma telegram channel reports.

"On June 26, 2024, as part of the official visit of the leadership of the Atomic Energy Agency Uzatom and the First Deputy Director General of the Rosatom State Corporation (A. Petrov), a signing ceremony was held at the site of a small nuclear power plant (ASMM) on the procedure for the entry into force of the contract for the construction of ASMM," the message says.
