Leningrad NPP has received permission to produce lutetium-177

The Leningrad NPP has received official permission from Rostechnadzor for the production of lutetium-177, which demonstrates high efficiency in the diagnosis and targeted therapy of a number of oncological diseases.

It will be possible to produce lutetium-177 at two power units of the nuclear power plant.
