Argentina is developing a small modular reactor Carem with increased power.

Adriana Cristina Serquis, President of the National Atomic Energy Commission of Argentina (CNEA), told reporters about this.

The new project will have a power of 100 to 120 MWe. The modular design will make it possible to assemble power plants of various power on its basis, the head of the CNEA specified.
