These data are presented in the PRIS database supported by the IAEA. Another 51 units have the status of the being built one. Since the beginning of 2021, six new units have been connected to the grid - "Kakrapar-3" (India), KANUPP-2 (Pakistan), "Tianwan-6", "Hongyanhe-5" and "Shidao Bay-1" (all China) and "Barakah-2" (UAE). The construction was started on five new units - "Akkuyu-3" (Turkey), "Changjiang-3", "Tianwan-7" and "Xudabu-3" (all China), BREST-OD-300 (Russia). Nine units were permanently shutdown - "Indian Point-3" (USA), "Kuosheng-1" (Taiwan), "Dungeness B-1", "Dungeness B-2", "Hunterston B-1" (all Great Britain), KANUPP-1 (Pakistan), "Brokdorf-1", "Grohnde-1" and "Gundremmingen-C" (all Germany).
