Fuel loading completed at Tianwan-5

The first fuel loading was completed on July 9, 2020 at the unit No. 5 of the Tianwan NPP (China).

The Chinese 1000 MWe CNP-1000 reactor is installed at the Tianwan-5. The first concrete date was December 27, 2015.

At present, four power units with VVER-1000 reactors are operating at Tianwan NPP (V-428 and V428M projects). The Chinese CNP-1000 reactors were installed on the fifth and sixth units under construction, and the Russian VVERs will again be on the units No. 7/8 planned for construction.
