RASU JSC and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Sign Partnership Agreement Press Service of RASU JSC, PUBLISHED 08.12.2019 Rusatom Automated Control Systems JSC (RASU JSC) and the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution for Higher Education "Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University" (FSAEI HE SPbPU) signed an agreement on strategic partnership and cooperation in science and technology on the sidelines of Power Grids International Forum in Moscow. The document was signed by Mr. Alexey Voronin, director of Rusatom Electrical Engineering, branch of Rusatom Automated Control Systems JSC, and Mr. Vitaly Sergeev, vice-rector for research, FSAEI HE SPbPU, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of Russia. The agreement involves the cooperation of the parties in implementation of advanced technical (engineering) solutions, and joint research, development and experimental activities, including the work on current and voltage digital instrument transformers, and monitoring, diagnostics and automation systems for electrical equipment. Special attention was paid to innovative breakthrough technologies in automation of fuel and energy facilities in Russia, and in other industries and markets. "Within the framework of our ambitious goals - to improve the competitiveness of Rosatom's main business and to enter new rapidly growing markets emerging due to the digital transformation of the power industry - we agreed to provide comprehensive assistance to each other, both in the implementation of breakthrough scientific and technical solutions, and in education for the future specialists and qualification upgrade for the existing personnel", Alexey Voronin noted. "The aim of our cooperation is to do research, development and experimental works, create and further develop innovative breakthrough technologies for the automation of fuel and energy facilities in Russia.
