Lugansk commemorated Chernobyl liquidators

Lugansk People's Republic commemorated the liquidators of the Chernobyl nuclear accident, the republican information portal reports.

The Chernobyl Day is celebrated in the republic at December 14.

At December 14, the ceremony of laying flowers was held at the Chernobyl monument in Lugansk.

"They were also at war and protected civilians. So for us, they are the heroes!" - said Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Nikitin.
