Boris Arseev was appointed an Executive vice-president of Rusatom Overseas. B.Arseev will be responsible for business development of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM on the international market, primarily due to the formation and portfolio management of non-nuclear projects, including those in the field of traditional energetics.

“ROSATOM has the unique experience and innovative solutions not only in the field of nuclear power engineering. On the global market we can also offer a variety of competitive solutions in the field of traditional energetics and renewable energy sources. Realization of these projects will strengthen our competence in project management and will provide additional financial resources to enable more effective promotion of ROSATOM’s wide range of technologies in the global market”, noted B.Arseev.

B.Arseev became the third Executive vice-president of Rusatom Overseas. Currently in the company is working Anastasia Zoteeva who is responsible for business development, marketing and strategic management of ROSATOM’s marketing offices abroad and also Leos Tomichek who supervises such major projects as the participation in the tender for the completion of Temelin NPP (Czech Republic), participation in development programs of nuclear generation in Hungary and Slovakia, etc.

Biography:

Boris Arseev was born September 22, 1971. In 1993 he graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute with a specialization in “Thermophysics, automation and ecology of thermal units in metallurgy”, PhD in Technical Sciences. He has an Executive MBA in “Strategic Management” of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. He began his career with the private sector in low energy, housing services and utilities and metallurgy industry. Later he worked for such companies as the Federal State Unitary Enterprise of the Federal Customs Service ROSTEK, as well as such companies as JSC EMAlliance-Atom, JSC KPI RusAtom Stroy-Invest. Since February 2010, he held the position of Commercial Director in JSC Atomenergomash. From December 2011 till April 2012, Boris Arseev was the temporary acting Director General of JSC Atomenergomash.
