Iran Installs Homemade Fuel Rods in Nuclear Reactor – Press TV

Iran has inserted its first homemade nuclear fuel rods into a research reactor in Tehran, Iranian state-run Press TV reported on Wednesday.

According to Press TV, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and the head of the country’s Atomic Energy Organization, Fereydoun Abbasi, attended the ceremony.

Earlier on Tuesday, Ali Bagheri, deputy chief of Iran’s National Security Council, announced the move.
