Kazakhstan may buy into Russian uranium enterprise

Kazakhstan is pondering the possibility of buying stocks in a Russian uranium enrichment enterprise, Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Masimov said on Tuesday.

"We will discuss this possibility with Rosatom [state nuclear corporation] head Sergei Kiriyenko [later] on Tuesday," Masimov, who is taking part in the 6th Annual Baikal Economic Forum, said.

"At this stage I am not in a position to say which enterprise this will be, although it has already been defined. Negotiations are in the final stage."
