At "Bushehr" NPP Site the loading of the simulated fuel assemblies (SFA) in the reactor have been completed, the protecting tube system has been installed, process systems of the primary circuit have been prepared for hydraulic tests, the works for the reactor sealing have been commenced.
SFA loading in the reactor is an important event for the power unit commissioning and provides the possibility of the reactor assembly and carrying out further hydrotests and circulation flushing of the primary and secondary circuits.
As for today the financing of "Bushehr" NPP construction is being effected in full volume, all the issues are being solved online.
The works are fulfilled in full compliance with the schedule agreed upon between "Atomstroyexport" JSC and the Iranian customer. Start-up and adjustment works at "Bushehr" NPP approach to the completion stage.
"Atomstroyexport|" JSC constructs Unit No. 1 of "Bushehr" NPP on a "turn key" basis according to the Contract dated 8.01.1995 and Addendum No. 1 of 29.08.1998 based on the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran dated August 25, 1992 on cooperation in nuclear power plant construction in the territory of Iran.
The total number of personnel at "Bushehr" NPP Site amounts to 2 984 men, 1 937 from which were detached from the Russian Federation.
