Rosenergoatom - EDF exchange of experience

On July 11-12 the representatives of Electricite de France (EdF) and Rosenergoatom (REA) met in the World Trade Center in Moscow for exchange of experience in the area of optimization of centralization and decentralization of functions and responsibility within company, as well as approaches to centralization and decentralization of financial resources in company budget.

The first deputy of director general of Roaenergoatom Alexander Lokshin told that before centralization of management function inside Rosenergoatom it is very important to exchange of experience with EDF specialists within EDF- REA cooperation, in particular in financing-economic activity of companies.

The participants considered the experience of foundation of EdF organizational structure, architecture of EdF management system, functioning of bodies developing and making strategic decisions.

Financial director of EdF Nuclear production Administration (DPN) Patrick Jacques told about DPN's achievements and EdF strategic goals.

French expert presented the experience in forming five-year, seven-year, medium and annual EdF's budgets and involving different management levels in this procedure. He spoke about interaction of his financial service with other DPN's divisions and about enhancing efficiency of EdF, including mechanisms for push on costs.

The sides were satisfied with the results of the meeting.

On 4 March, an intergovernmental agreement on principles of cooperation in the construction of a SMR (small modular reactor) in Myanmar was signed during the state visit of Myanmar leadership to Russia.
The document was signed in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, by Alexey Likhachev, Rosatom State Corporation Director General, and Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Union Minister of Science and Technology of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
