Turbogenerator of the 2nd unit of Kursk NPP was shut down

On July 20 at 14:54 turbogenerator (TG-4) was shut down by NPP personnel due to violation in electro equipment.

Unit power was decreased down to 50%. The Kursk NPP's specialists are searching the causes.Radiation background at Kursk Npp and its surrounding is no higher than normal.
