A new version of Rosenergoatom's web-portal

The project was started in test mode, further new images and sections will be added.

"The reconstruction of internet-site of Rosenergoatom was a final stage of Rosenergoatom rebranding. Our aim was to create a united branch corporative resource in Internet, which could allow to increase efficiency of information interaction with our audience. If early our website had informational character, now it will be powerful channel for on-line education and communication", the director general of "Press-center of nuclear power", Dina Kulikova commented.

This web portal was established together with Actis Systems company, the leading supplier of solutions for electronic business in Russia. This company fulfilled more 600 projects for such structures as "VTB 24", "Gazprombank", "Raifazen Bank", "Beeline", "Rostelecon", "Maicrosoft", "Sibneft" and other. Actis Systems has a status of Microsoft Certified Partner (Custom Development Solutions Competency).

The executive director of Actis Systems, Anna Sverdlova noted:"The task faced us was interesting because Internet-resource should be combined corporative information and sufficiently wide education functions, and it should be interesting and easy to use for all groups of audience. With increasing interest of the world community to nuclear power, the task of establishing internet-representation of Rosenergoatom becomes very important".

The art director of the project Aleksey Antonov said: "We worked productively with Rosenergoatom's team, we successfully completed the first stage of Rosenergoaton's web site project, corporative and information part, in extremely short terms, but it is expected many interning and educational articles in the nearest future, when launching educational part of web-site".

Rosenergoatom' s web-portal realized on the basis of the most progressive system WebBuilder, combines the official web-sites of all 10 NPPs in Russia. Besides, two self-dependent web-sites have been created: "Virtual museum of nuclear power" and "Educational nuclear power web-site for students and scholars".

The first task of reconstruction of web-site included a creation of more clear and simplified structure providing quick access to suitable structured data files. New version of web-site contains new developed module "On-line information" demonstrated daily updated information on the main indices of NPPs operation. This model also allows to work with data archives for certain period. Thus anybody can receive accurate information around radiation background in the area of any NPPs.

Section "Nuclear power plants" includes interactive map to be reflected both existing NPPs and the sites of NPPs to be build and floatable nuclear power plants.

Actually self-independent web-resource "Virtual museum of nuclear power" contains the fullest information of nuclear power history, its major development stages, eminence people. A wide spectrum of information is planned to locate in web-site, beginning from archive documents, photos, video chronics and completing historical reviews and calendar of the main nuclear power events.

Design-concept of both educational web-resources was fulfilled in animation form to attract the various age groups. Interactive games, crosswords, quiz programs allow to receive a notion of nuclear power, construction of NPP, reactor design etc. Animation assistants will appear on the web-site to simplify navigation.
