The peaceful atom appears in internet

Recently the head of Rosatom Sergey Kirienko announced that data on radiation situation around Angarsk electrolyze chemical complex will be published in internet in real -time processing.

According to Kirienko, the results of measurements carried out by automated radiation safety control system (ASKRO), operating around Angarsk complex will be published in internet.

ASCRO detectors operated around each large nuclear facility, but oddly enough it is impossible to receive in internet fresh data on radiation background around majority of NPPs.

Only Leningrad NPP (www.laes.ru) and Balakovo NPP (www.balaes.ru) publish daily its ASKRO data in internet, as well as Kolskaya NPP publishes data in site of Murmansk region (www.mtrs.ecoinfo.ru). Websites of Kursk (www.kunpp.ru) and Rostov NPP (www.rosnpp.org.ru) present information over the last day.

Section of website of Novovoronezhskoy NPP (www.nvnpp.vrn.ru) devoted to ecology was renewed last in 2003. Smolensk NPP's website informs that it will be completed soon. There is no website of Bilibino NPP in internet.

There is no ASKRO data on website of Kalinin NPP placed near Moscow.

GUP Mos NPO Radon (www.radon.ru) is responsible for radiation safety in Moscow, but it is impossible to obtain information about radiation level in Moscow on its website.
